Installing and Configuring Keysight IO Libraries Suite

Configuring a remote GPIB interface

1 Launch Keysight Connection Expert from the Start menu or

the Start Screen (Windows 8).

2 Select Add interface on the Keysight Connection Expert toolbar.

3 In the Manually Add an Interface dialog box, select

Remote GPIB.

4 Select Add to display the Remote GPIB interface dialog

box as shown in

Figure 2- 10.

5 If the E5810B is in the subnet as the PC, select Find

Interfaces... to locate and add the remote GPIB interface.

6 If the E5810B is on a different subnet from the PC, enter

the hostname or the IP address displayed on the E5810B

front panel display.
