Pre Emphasis Tests

Notes:

1. The nominal settings of Level 0, 1, 2, 3 are 0, 3.5, 6, and 9.5 dB BUT we really don’t care

about the absolute level. What is important is the DIFFERENCE between settings.

2. We measure the Pre-Emphasis between adjacent pre-emphasis settings at a specific Level

setting and compare.

3. The non transition voltages are also checked: V
