Panel Reference
The
state
trigger
mode is similar
to the
pattern
trigger
mode
except
that
one
channel
is
selected as a clock
edge and
the other
two triggcr
sourocs
define a
pattern.
When
the
pattern
becomes
true the IIP

trigers
on the nei
clock
edge if the
pattern
meets
setup
and hold
criteria.

The
trig'd/auto and trigger
mode
function keys
remain
displayed
in
all
trigger modes.
Select
any channel to
be used
as the state
clock.
Select the
channel
by
pressing
the
function
key
until the
desired
channel is highlighted.
The
clock
selection
is reflected
in
the next
field with
an arrow,
pointing
either
up
for
a
positive
slope or down
for
a negative
slope.
The when key
depicts the
desired
pattern.
The
displayed pattern
shows
the
arrow at the
selected clock channel.
The
other two
trigger
sources
deline
the
logic
pattern
that
must
be satisfied
to
generate
a trigger
event
using
the
H, L, X
convention
described
in
the
pattern
trigger
mode
section
of this
chapter.
