Connection Expert will attempt to establish a communication path to the

instrument. If the L4411A is at the address specified, the instrument will be

added to the list of GPIB-configured instruments. (Figure 2-12).

interface by sending the following command from the ‘Interactive IO’ or ‘SCPI
