
NOTE
The context of this calibration process applies directly to
a delay line FM discriminator. These calibration processes
will also apply to other types of FM discriminators.
The FM Discriminator translates the phase fluctuations into frequency
fluctuations. Adjustment of the input frequency or a phase shifter is
required to achieve quadrature. The Discriminator Constant determines
the system's absolute noise floor for the measurements.
