Capacitance Compensation When Using Switching Matrix
2. Measure the R, L, C values of the for C2H (DATA05), C2L (DATA06),
C3H (DATA07), and C3L (DATA08) by using the MFCMU. See “To obtain
compensation coefficients” on page 3-53.
After the measurements, calculate the per meter value of the R, L, C
, and record
them into the following table.
3. Launch a text editor and open the compensation data file
created at step 1.
Change the R, L, C values of the C2H (DATA05), C2L (DATA06),
C3H (DATA07), an
d C3L (DATA08) lines to the values recorded at step 2.
Do not change any other lines.
4. Save the file as your compensation data file (e.g. C:\temp\my_env_1.txt).
To perform the capacitance compensation, enter the file name of the
compensa
tion data file to the User Compensation Data File field of the
“Extended Configuration” on page 4-46, and execute the measurement.
Before starting measurement, perform the CMU calibration. See “CM
U
Calibration” on page 4-37. Also see “C-V Sweep Measurement” on page 7-19.
